Ultimate Reset - Day 9

The fatigue has FINALLY loosened its grip. Thank you, Lord!! However, the Detox part of this is doing it's thing because I have spent an awful lot of time in the bathroom today. If I don't see some loss on the scale tomorrow, I will be shocked. I don't think there's much left inside me! Keeping it real over here.

I haven't felt very hungry today at all. In fact, I didn't even think about lunch until 1:30pm. I decided to make the Sweet Potato Roasted Red Pepper Bisque. I forgot how good that is! It was one of my favorites from past Resets. I don't really care much for sweet potato in their natural form, but when blended it makes for a thick, creamy soup. For dinner, I had pinto beans and rice/quinoa with Mexican cauli-rice. It was surprisingly delicious

Here's a look at today's menu:

Fruit Bowl (Apple, Peach, Watermelon, Grapes and Blueberries)

Sweet Potato Roasted Red Pepper Bisque and Microgreen Salad

Pinto Beans and Rice/Quinoa Mexican Cauli Rice

Edamame Guacamole with Cucumbers and Watermelon

My workout this morning was all quick conditioning drills. I'm glad to have gotten that one out of the way first thing this week. Tomorrow is legs day and it will require less calorie burn. I really enjoy working out in a fasted state too. Just knocking it out first thing in the morning on an empty stomach makes me feel like I'm set up to be a calorie burning machine all day long.

Tomorrow the kids have their first full day of school. Today was a half day. I am so looking forward to getting back to the school day routine. Summer with the kids is great, but working from home adds an element of challenge and of guilt. I am ready for a break from that!
